We Built Perya789 for the Way Filipinos Actually Play

Our Story — From a Simple Idea to a Trusted Name

Perya789 started with a straightforward observation: Filipino players love to bet, but the platforms available to them were built for foreign markets. The odds were presented in confusing formats. The customer support didn't understand local context. Depositing money required a foreign bank card most Filipinos don't have. It felt like those platforms were built for everyone except us.

So a group of Filipino entrepreneurs and gaming technologists decided to do something about it. They set out to build a platform where a player from Batangas, Cebu, Davao, or Pangasinan would feel right at home — not like a tourist navigating an airport in a country they've never visited.

The name perya789 is a deliberate nod to Filipino culture. The perya — the travelling carnival that sets up in town plazas during fiestas — is where many Filipinos first experienced the thrill of games and small bets. That spirit of fun, community, and local flavour is what perya789 has tried to bring into the digital space. We want every session to feel like you're playing with your kabayan, not logging into a faceless international corporation.

Since opening, perya789 has grown steadily, driven almost entirely by word of mouth. Players who found the platform comfortable and fair told their friends. Those friends told more friends. That kind of organic growth doesn't happen unless the product is genuinely good — and that's a point of pride for the entire perya789 team.

Perya789 was built to match the energy of Filipino game culture — lively, social, and rooted in community.

Basketball and Filipino culture go hand in hand — perya789 honours that connection through dedicated PBA coverage and community-first features.

Built Around the Filipino Community

One thing that separates perya789 from platforms that merely serve the Philippine market is that we were built inside it. Our team includes people who grew up watching PBA games on a neighbour's TV, who placed their first bets at a local perya, and who know what it's like to wait two weeks for a withdrawal to clear because the platform only supported international wire transfers.

That lived experience shapes every product decision. We support GCash and Maya deposits because that's how Filipinos manage money today. We keep the minimum deposit at ₱100 because we know not everyone wants to commit a large amount before they've had a chance to explore the platform. We offer Filipino-language customer support because an urgent account question shouldn't require you to write a formal email in perfect business English to a support team operating in a different time zone.

Our community is also central to how we improve. Player feedback goes directly to our product team. When users told us that the mobile betting slip was hard to edit on smaller screens, we fixed it within a week. When the PBA community asked for quarter-by-quarter live betting on championship games, we prioritised it for the following conference. Perya789 is not a static product — it evolves alongside the players who use it.

That community spirit extends to how we reward loyalty. Regular players at perya789 benefit from cashback offers, reload bonuses, and exclusive invitations to special events. We're not interested in making big promises to new players and then ignoring them once they've signed up. Long-term relationships matter to us.
